Day Four - Tohatoha (share)

Tohatoha or share was the pedagogy kopu of the day.

'Sharing sustains relationships' is a quote from the day that is transferable across a multitude of context.

This week the work done on google sheets has the potential to reduce some of the double handling of data that currently happens within our school. With data, people seem to have their prefered ways of managing it.

My students have completed google forms before. I think this week I will create my first google quiz.

I hope it will be  an efficient way of collecting knowledge data. This may also allow me to experiment more with using éxplore'and importing appropriate charts from the data. That show learning or gaps and therefore be useful with next learning steps.

  1. Kia ora Tania,
Thank you for sharing all about 'share'!
Isn't tohatoha a great kupu. It's additional meanings are to distribute or disperse and it's so fitting that you are sharing here and in the process, actively distributing and amplifying your own learning, which will help to grow other's learning as well. It's great to see you thinking about creating quizzes in Google Forms for your learners - how did you get on with this? Please share back your experience - it's so helpful for others to learn by sharing in your experiences as well.
    See you again on Friday,
    Kia haumaru te noho,
    Amie

  2. Confession time.... I didn't have a chance to try the quiz left. But it was timely for having the class give google sheets ago. We were collecting cans for the community which was perfect for collecting data and graphing.
